Insects Acrostic Poem

I saw an insect jump as high as a rocket.

Night time is when fireflies come out glowing like a fire. 

Spiders are hairy like fleas. 

Every insect has its own job. 

Cockroaches live in dark places which are as dark as in a cave. 

That spider is big! as big as a finger!

Weekend Recount

“Shift,shift” 

I woke up cozy on my bed.

I walked on the window to open the curtains, as the sun shines bright upon my face I smelled something good. I walked downstairs carefully, as I was about to walk in the door my baby brothers giggled, I jumped up because I got scared.

I greeted my mom good morning as she cooks breakfast. My mom asked, “Can you put the food on the table,'' I answered “yes” I put the food on the table and I started doing the plates too. 

After that I told my baby brother to wake up our dad and I had to wake up my sister. 

After everyone was awake we started eating breakfast.

After breakfast everyone started doing their own thing. My sister and I watched a movie on Netflix, we watched Anne with an e, it was about a girl she was an orphan, an old man adopted her but the old man’s wife thought it was a boy, it was sad at first but then it got better and better. It so much fun watching with my sister. The sun started to set and before I knew it, it was night time. My mom and dad told my sister and I to go downstairs to watch a horror movie with them.

After the movie…

To me the movie wasn’t scary but my sister was terrified. 

After the movie finished, we had to go to sleep, it was a tiring day  but it was also fun. I love being with my family. 

A Day of being a Bee

“Buzz,buzz”
I buzzed while flying around looking for some pollen for my dear queen bee.
“STOMP,STOMP!”, “Whoa , what’s all these stomping…, oh no, it's a human” I buzzed, “she’s heading towards the wasps hive” I buzzed around the girl, “wait why did she run away? she might be scared of me or she saw a wasp hive”. I went back to the beehive to give the queen bee  pollen that I collected but it wasn’t enough. I also told the other bees where most of the pollen is located by doing the bees waggle dance. I told them to be careful because there were lots of humans. My friends and I went buzzing around to collect pollen for our queen bee.
After a while…
The sun was setting we had to go back and luckily we collected lots of pollen for our queen bee. When we came back the queen was very happy because we gave her lots of pollen.

That was my day of being a bee.

Holiday Recount

“Thud!”., I fell out of my bed on an early morning, I stood up and walked to my bed so I can sleep again, I was about to sleep when my mom woke my up by shouting “WAKE UP!”. I fell out of my bed again. I got ready and went downstairs to eat. 
When I was eating my mom told me we were going to Sylvia Park to look for some new clothes and shoes.

My dad drove to Sylvia Park, the first store we went to is Nike, we found some really good shoes but we weren’t satisfied, so we went to Dress Smart which is not in Sylvia Park. we went to Adidas and we found some Stan Smith shoes which I thought was really cool, I asked my dad if I can buy it and he said “Yes”. I was so excited to try it on. My mom and sister brought some new stuff too, when we finished we went back home I was so excited on the way home. When we got home my dad told my mom, sister and I to try the new thing we brought, he liked what we brought. 
After a while…
My family and I went to get something to eat, we went to order in KFC, we ordered some fries and chicken, It was delicious to eat.
When we saw that the sun was setting down we went back home and we watched a movie together.
